Study visits of people with (mentally) disabilities in Europe

People with (mentally) disabilities who work in jobs will get the opportunity of work periods in a EU country. They will get to know the living conditions in other countries and work for a week or two in another country, in a sheltered workshop, for example. 

Conditions of participation:

• proposal and agreement on the part of the employer

• the disabled people participating in the programme should be accompanied by others, e.g. social workers

• minimum age: 25 years

As a rule, the following help and expenses will be given:

• placement by a European partner organisation

• lodging and accompaniment by the respective partner organization

Participants will have to meet part of the costs for the trip there and back, or apply for support with their employer.
